Authenticated service interruption via AddMacList stack overflow
Published Apr 21, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Stack overflow in H3C Magic R200 firmware R200V100R004 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via AddMacList requests. The /goform/aspForm handler accepts attacker-controlled AddMacList data without enforcing the bounds of a stack buffer, causing an out-of-bounds write. Administrative access to the network management interface is required, and the documented impact is service interruption without reported data disclosure or modification.
