Administrator-triggered device crash via oversized interface parameter
Published Apr 21, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Stack overflow in H3C Magic R200 R200V100R004 allows remote authenticated users to crash the device via a crafted HTTP request. The /goform/aspForm endpoint accepts an oversized param value for SetMobileAPInfoById without enforcing the destination stack buffer's bounds. Administrative access to the web interface is required; the documented effect is a device crash, with no data access or modification.
