Authenticated linked-account information disclosure
Published May 2, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
Incorrect access control in the Zammad 5.3.x API allows remote authenticated users to read linked-account information. Zammad has not disclosed the affected API endpoint or the authorization check that fails when linked accounts are returned. Reachability requires a valid account and a ticket involving the target user, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of that user's linked accounts.
