Authenticated code execution via language-file upload
Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Command injection in WBCE CMS 1.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code through the language installer. The admin/languages/install.php handler saves an uploaded language file to a temporary path and executes its PHP content without strict filtering. Administrative language-management access and a valid form token are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code with the web server's privileges.
