Stored script execution via unsanitized menu name
Published Apr 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025
Stored XSS in Bang Resto 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser through itemName. The admin/menu.php Add New Menu function accepts a crafted itemName, stores it, and later renders the value as active page content. Administrative privileges are required to submit the value, and another user must view the affected page; execution is limited to that viewer's web context.
