Browser script execution via unsanitized login username
Published Apr 26, 2023 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in Exelysis Unified Communication Solutions 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script via the login username parameter. The eucsAdmin login form writes the submitted username into an HTML input value without adequately sanitizing JavaScript or markup. Exploitation requires inducing a user to submit or open the crafted login request; the script then runs in that user's browser within the site's security context.
