Unauthenticated database disclosure via injectable bookmap parameter
Published May 12, 2023 · Updated Jan 24, 2025
SQL injection in CompanyMaps 8.0 allows remote attackers to read the application's database through the bookmap request parameter. The unauthenticated /rest/booking/index.php endpoint interprets SQL syntax supplied in bookmap, including a time-delay subquery. No login or user interaction is required; the published exploit demonstrates database dumping, including stored LDAP credentials.
