CVE-2023-29780Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Device crash via repeated Zigbee Down_close commands

Published Apr 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025

Denial of service in Third Reality Smart Blind 1.00.54 allows remote attackers to crash the device with crafted Zigbee messages. The firmware mishandles repeated Zigbee Down_close commands, causing the blind to drop its network connection instead of rejecting the traffic. An unauthenticated attacker within Zigbee radio range can interrupt control for about 30 seconds by sending several commands in quick succession.
