Browser script execution via reflected CSS-path payload
Published Jun 9, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
Reflected XSS in Vade Secure Gateway 3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted URL. The /css/ request path reflects attacker-controlled URL content into a generated page without neutralizing executable markup. A victim must open the URL, after which the script runs in the gateway page's browser context and can read or alter data available to that session.
