CVE-2023-2970

Authenticated processing interruption

Published May 30, 2023 · Updated Nov 22, 2024

Memory corruption in JsonHelper::UpdateArray in MindSpore 2.0.0-alpha and 2.0.0-rc1 allows attackers to interrupt processing. The public patch removes logging of the updated JSON object and separates JSON parsing exceptions from other failures, but it does not identify the corrupting operation. Published assessments require low privileges but disagree on network versus adjacent reachability; reported impact is limited to availability, with no disclosed crash, hang, or data effect.
