Unauthenticated code execution via template injection
Published Aug 4, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Server-side template injection in PyroCMS 3.9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending crafted commands. Public records do not disclose the affected endpoint, template field, or code path that evaluates attacker-controlled template syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-chosen code on the server.
