Stored XSS via unfiltered post fields
Published May 1, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
Stored XSS in PerfreeBlog 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers through a crafted post. The Post function stores article titles and content without filtering them, then includes the saved values when readers browse the post. An attacker must be able to publish an article, and exploitation requires another user to view it; the script can read browser-accessible information or alter page content.
