Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered eid parameter
Published Apr 13, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in the bloofoxCMS 0.5.2 page editor allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the eid parameter. The page-edit handler passes eid into an SQL statement without the validate_text() filter applied to other submitted fields. A valid application session is required, and successful injection exposes or changes data held by the CMS database.
