Environment-variable disclosure via filename expansion

Information disclosure in Firefox before 112, Firefox ESR before 102.10, and Thunderbird before 102.10 allows remote attackers to read environment values. The Windows file picker expands percent-delimited environment-variable names embedded in an attacker-supplied suggested filename instead of treating the filename literally. Exploitation requires a victim to invoke Save Link As for a crafted link; the expanded value enters the saved filename and is disclosed if that filename is returned to the attacker.
