Authenticated RCE via privileged AWM view sheet
Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Code injection in XWiki Platform 7.4.4 through 14.10.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute code in the server context. The AppWithinMinutes LiveTableViewSheet renders an attacker-supplied Groovy macro with the sheet author's programming right when the page carries a LiveTableClass object. An account with document edit rights, but without script or programming rights, is sufficient to run arbitrary server-side code.
