Stored XSS via unsanitized Live Data HTML
Published Apr 16, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Stored XSS in XWiki Platform 13.10.10, 14.4 through 14.4.6, and 14.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The Live Data macro's HTML displayer renders attacker-controlled entry values as raw HTML instead of neutralizing script-capable markup. The attacker needs page-editing access without script rights, the page's last content author must hold script rights, and a viewer must render the saved page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
