Local privilege escalation via uncontrolled search path
Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Uncontrolled search path handling in Intel RealSense Dynamic Calibrator before 2.13.1.0 allows local users to gain elevated privileges. Intel has not published the affected executable, searched location, or untrusted path element that triggers the unsafe lookup. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and user interaction; successful abuse runs attacker-controlled code with the affected process's privileges.
