Improper authorization in OpenEMR before 7.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter patient portal onsite document markup. OnsiteDocumentController accepts user-supplied fullDocument changes and saves them; the patch compares old and new markup and escapes inserted HTML. Access to patient portal document editing is required, and unauthorized markup changes can compromise stored document content and browser-rendered data.
