Reflected XSS via unescaped invalid webcall ID
Published Apr 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in the cpsrvd error page in WebPros cPanel before 11.109.9999.116 allows remote attackers to run script via a crafted link. The error handler inserts an attacker-controlled invalid webcall ID into its HTML response without escaping the value. A victim must follow the link; the script then runs in the cPanel origin and can read or modify browser-accessible session data.
