Authenticated login via misconfigured LDAP identifier
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Authentication bypass in Terminalfour before 8.3.16 allows remote authenticated users to log in with an invalid LDAP password. The login path accepts an invalid password when the imported user's stored LDAP identifier has been manually changed to an incorrect value. The affected account must be imported from LDAP and then misconfigured manually; successful exploitation grants that account's platform access.
