Uncontrolled resource consumption in Ribose RNP 0.16.1 through 0.16.2 allows remote attackers to cause a service hang via malformed OpenPGP messages. Certain malformed PKESK and SKESK packets trigger incorrect parsing that leaves the library hung. No credentials or user interaction are required; applications such as Thunderbird can become unresponsive while processing the message.
