Memory disclosure and service hang via oversized packets

Improper input validation in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Linx 6.20 and 6.30 allows remote attackers to read memory or hang CIP communications. The communication service accepts a packet-declared size larger than its buffer, disclosing adjacent memory; a sufficiently large size leaves CIP unresponsive. Reaching either effect requires only network access to the PanelView Plus-hosted service, with no authentication or user interaction.
