Published May 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Improper access control in OpenEMR before 7.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to access prescription functions without permission. Controller::act dispatches prescription requests without checking the patients/prescriptions ACL before invoking the requested action. Any signed-in account that can reach this controller can bypass prescription permissions to view or alter prescription data; no availability impact is reported.
