Account impersonation via reflected Action form script
Published Jul 13, 2023 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in Zabbix 4.0.0 through 4.0.45, 5.0.0 through 5.0.34, and 6.0.0 through 6.0.17 allows remote authenticated users to execute script. The frontend reflects submitted Action form values into a browser response without sufficient validation, but Zabbix does not identify the exact fields or output-encoding path. Low-privileged access is required; executed script can expose session cookies and enable impersonation of the affected user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
