Uncontrolled resource consumption in Zabbix server and proxy JavaScript allows remote authenticated users to interrupt monitoring services. The server and proxy execute administrator-supplied preprocessing, webhook, or global-script JavaScript without limits on CPU, memory allocation, or disk I/O. Admin or Superadmin access is required to configure or test these scripts, which can exhaust host resources and hang or crash monitoring services.
