Published Apr 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Progress Sitefinity media libraries allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The public advisory does not identify the affected media-library field or explain how Sitefinity handles its untrusted value during page generation. A privileged Sitefinity account must supply the content and another user must view the affected page, enabling script execution in that user's browser context.
