CVE-2023-29365

Code execution via media-object use-after-free

Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Jan 1, 2025

Use-after-free in Windows Media on affected Microsoft Windows releases allows attackers to execute code via crafted media content. Microsoft identifies reuse of memory after its object is freed but does not disclose the affected parser, object, or invalid lifetime operation.
