Type confusion in V8 in Google Chrome before 114.0.5735.90 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via crafted HTML. V8 incorrectly handles an attempted property extension of a non-extensible JavaScript object, causing incompatible object-type assumptions. A user must load the crafted page; successful exploitation can crash the renderer or execute code within its sandboxed browser context.
