Authenticated PHP execution via unfiltered URL allowlist
Published May 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 13, 2025
Code injection in DedeCMS 5.7.106 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code through the allurls parameter. article_allowurl_edit.php writes allurls content to data/admin/allowurl.txt without filtering, after which the backend file manager includes it as PHP. A valid backend session and access to the URL allow-list editor are required, and injected code runs with the web server's privileges.
