Arbitrary web-directory file write via unauthenticated requests
Published Apr 26, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services allows remote attackers to write arbitrary web-server files. The Splus Server writes attacker-supplied files into its web server directory without authentication; TIBCO has not disclosed the affected endpoint or failed validation. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation can replace web-served content or place attacker-controlled files, but code execution is not established by the public record.
