Browser script execution via unescaped organization name
Published May 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in the Edit Person page of Krayin CRM 1.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The organization field submitted to /admin/contacts/organizations/edit/2 is rendered without neutralizing script-capable input; published material identifies no narrower function or template. An administrator-level account must change the organization value, and another user must open the affected page for the script to execute in that browser context.
