Authenticated code execution via unrestricted ASPX upload
Published May 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in SUPCON SimField 1.80.00.00 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code via reportupload.aspx. The handler accepts a files[] multipart part with an attacker-selected ASPX filename and stores it beneath the web-accessible report path without blocking executable content. The published request carries an authenticated session, and the CNA rates high privileges as required; successful exploitation runs uploaded server-side code.
