Restricted document disclosure via missing recycle-bin checks
Published Apr 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Information disclosure in XWiki Platform affected releases allows remote attackers to read restricted deleted documents over the network. The recycle-bin revision path loads document content without checking the current user's view right against the deleted entry. No authentication or user interaction is required, but disclosure is limited to deleted documents carrying document-level rather than space-level view restrictions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
