Add-on state changes via missing nonce validation
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Themeum Tutor LMS 2.7.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to toggle add-ons through an administrator's browser. The addon_enable_disable AJAX handler accepts the requested add-on and enable-or-disable action without validating a request nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to open a crafted link, after which the forged request changes add-on state.
