CVE-2023-29188Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via insufficient output encoding

Published May 9, 2023 · Updated Jan 28, 2025

Cross-site scripting in affected SAP CRM WebClient UI component versions allows remote authenticated users to read and modify sensitive data. The UI insufficiently encodes user-controlled input before rendering it, but SAP’s public record does not identify the affected field, view, or encoding routine. Exploitation requires user-level access and victim interaction; scope is limited to reading and modifying some sensitive information, without deletion.
