Improper access control in Intel Server Board BMC Firmware allows local users to escalate privileges on affected server boards. Intel has not published the affected access-control locus or the incorrect operation that enables the escalation. Authenticated local access is required; affected releases are before 02.01.0017 for S2600WF, S2600ST, and S2600BP families and before R01.01.0009 for M50CYP and D50TNP families.
