Remote service termination via serve-stale stack overflow

Denial of service in BIND 9 9.16.33 through 9.16.41 and 9.18.7 through 9.18.15 allows remote attackers to terminate named. When the recursive-clients quota is exhausted with stale-answer-enable yes and stale-answer-client-timeout 0, serve-stale lookups loop until the named stack overflows. Unauthenticated DNS access is sufficient, but only resolvers using both non-default settings are exposed; successful exploitation interrupts DNS service without reported data disclosure or modification.
