Memory corruption via crafted CAD file parsing
Published Nov 23, 2023 · Updated Dec 2, 2024
Memory corruption in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021 through 2024 allows attackers to corrupt the current process by supplying a crafted CAD file. Autodesk has not disclosed the affected parser component or the incorrect memory operation triggered by MODEL, SLDASM, SAT, or CATPART data. User interaction is required to parse the file, and code execution is reported only when this flaw is combined with other vulnerabilities.
