Embedded malicious code in affected 3CX DesktopApp builds allows attackers to execute downloaded payloads through trojanized installers. The signed Windows and macOS packages run the SUDDENICON downloader, obtain command-and-control addresses from encrypted GitHub icon files, and fetch ICONICSTEALER. Execution requires an affected package to be installed or updated; the resulting third stage steals browser information and application configuration data.
