Privilege escalation in Lenovo XClarity Controller allows remote authenticated users with read-only access to modify users' roles through the CLI. The XCC command-line authorization logic permits optional read-only accounts to change custom roles on other accounts and alter the trespass message. The flaw is reachable only when SSH is enabled and at least one user has optional read-only permissions, enabling unauthorized account-policy changes.
