CVE-2023-29050Network attack vector

Directory disclosure and service interruption via LDAP injection

Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024

LDAP injection in OX App Suite backend 7.10.6-rev50 and 8.16 allows remote authenticated users to read directory data. The optional LDAP contacts provider inserts user-provided fragments into constructed LDAP filters without encoding, allowing queries outside the intended hierarchy. Privileged access and the optional provider are required; crafted filters expose directory information or overload the directory server until service is interrupted.
