CVE-2023-29047

Database read and write via getMetadata SQL injection

Published Nov 2, 2023 · Updated Jun 12, 2025

SQL injection in OX App Suite Imageconverter 7.10.6-rev5 and earlier or 8.12 and earlier allows attackers to read and modify database content. The getMetadata API passes client-controlled request parameters into SQL processing without sufficient validation or sanitization. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and can require API credentials; reads and writes are limited to content available to the Imageconverter SQL account.
