CVE-2023-29046Network attack vector

Request interruption via uncanceled external connections

Published Nov 2, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Resource exhaustion in OX App Suite backend 7.10.6-rev48 and 8.11 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt legitimate requests. Timed-out connections to user-controlled external data sources remain open and logged instead of being canceled, consuming the outbound connection pool. A valid user session and repeated malicious endpoints are required; exhaustion blocks legitimate requests without reported data disclosure or modification.
