CVE-2023-29028Network attack vector

Administrator-level interface modification via undisclosed XSS

Published May 11, 2023 · Updated Jan 24, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Rockwell Automation ArmorStart ST allows remote authenticated users with admin privileges to alter its web interface. Public records identify the embedded web interface but do not disclose the input, request handler, or encoding failure that permits script injection. The web server is disabled by default, and exploitation requires network access plus an administrator account; a successful attack exposes user data, changes the interface, and can interrupt the web page.
