Kernel crash via specific local-link packet

Improper exception handling in Junos OS on JRR200 appliances allows remote attackers to crash the kernel with a specific packet. The network-interface packet-processing path fails to handle an exceptional condition triggered by that packet; Juniper has not disclosed its exact format. The sender must share the device's local broadcast domain because routed packets cannot trigger the crash, while repeated delivery sustains the service interruption.
