Unauthenticated temporary-file disclosure via cert-mgmt.php
Published Apr 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Improper authentication in J-Web on affected Junos OS releases allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files from device temporary folders. The cert-mgmt.php endpoint processes attacker-controlled file requests without enforcing authentication before returning temporary-file contents. J-Web must be enabled and network-reachable; exposure is limited to files in temporary folders, with no reported write or execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
