Product duplication via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 9, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP EasyCart 5.4.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to duplicate products through an administrator's browser. The process_duplicate_product function accepts a state-changing request without validating a WordPress nonce, so it executes under the administrator's session. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to open an attacker-controlled link, and the resulting change is limited to duplicating store products.
