Bluetooth channel interruption via unchecked peer address
Published Jun 28, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025
Improper input validation in MIB3 OI MQB firmware 0304 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt Bluetooth channels. The L2CAP_ProcessSignalReq function checks supplied local and remote channel identifiers without verifying that the sender's BD_ADDR owns the target channel. An unauthenticated device within Bluetooth range can brute-force an established channel's identifier pair and disconnect clients other than itself.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
