CVE-2023-28908Public exploit

Code-execution chain via HCI receive-length overflow

Published Jun 28, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025

Integer overflow in the Bluetooth stack of JOYNEXT MIB3 OI MQB 0304 and earlier allows attackers to alter processing via crafted HCI packets. In tsd.bt.phone.mib3, pLink->rxLen wraps to a small value while the underlying non-fragmented packet data remains unchanged. Bluetooth pairing over AVDTP is required; the flaw contributes to a three-vulnerability chain that executes code as the low-privileged phone user.
