CVE-2023-28898

Infotainment interruption via zero RTSP log identifier

Published Jan 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 14, 2024

Denial of service in JOYNEXT MIB3 Infotainment Unit through 0304 allows remote attackers on in-vehicle Wi-Fi to interrupt the system. The RTSP implementation incorrectly handles a request to the /logs URI when its id parameter is zero, triggering the availability failure. Reachability requires access to the vehicle's Wi-Fi network and unspecified additional preconditions; the published record reports service interruption only.
